Last month I embarked on a project and I intended to document my process on my blog. Shorltly after I started, I found out about the MANOR OF ART show that I am in now and had to create quickly and didn't have time to blog. It was interesting to see how I took what I had started, not knowing what it was going to be, and adapted it to fit a vision I had for my room in the show.
If I wrote about the batik process I garuntee you your eyes would glaze over......So I will post a batch of pictures here showing various steps. My hope is to create a video to show the batik process. That will be much more entertaining than reading about it! Basically I am working with hot soy wax and dye and I love it!
